19 July Hornsea - London

Well now it’s official. Buzz has now got his own facebook page. He is under Buzz Orville F Fairhurst, AKA Buzz OFF. We decided it was essential for his burgeoning celebrity status. If you want to be his friend check it out for management approval. Not everybody gets to be his friend.
With that bit of news out of the way, and after packing up the house like the tidy Kiwis we are, Bill decided he wanted pictures of the picturesque Hornsea seascape. Tui moment … New Zealand citizens! We do beaches better. Here is a photo where you can view the North Sea in all its glory. An unexpected surprise were the midges in plague proportions who decided that exotic Kiwi meat was the preferred main course. They followed us back to the car and we had to spray the interior before departing the house for London.
Decided to go via Nottingham to London to find the Trip to Jerusalem Tavern for Mick with an anticipated Buzz moment. The GPS took us to the centre of the Nottingham University Campus with no Jerusalem to be seen. By this time we are both tired and grumpy. Not good on a holiday and we are both starving and needed feeding. We gave up the search as we both needed food. Sorry Mick.
After savouring Kentucky Duck overlooking a panoramic view of the M1 (after not heeding Allan’s warning. Our ears were painted on) we navigated the M1 into London with all the queuing, accidents and delays. The M1 is affectionately known as the great car park. We now know why, especially on a Sunday afternoon at the beginning of the School’s summer break. Guess it built our characters. A highlight for us was a Ferrari stalled (twice) on a roundabout. Very nouveau riche. Great to catch up with Allan again at the flat. We leave the UK and head off to Paris tomorrow on the next leg of our great European adventure.

Answer time
Bruce, Yes , the photos do not lie. We are very relaxed and intend to stay that way. We will see what we can do as far as Sunday goes. Tui Moment…..
Neal, you better give everybody another lesson. I suggest resending the link to them and getting them to write it down. We are not missing the cold, but then I would not consider the UK weather hot. It is more like spring. Wonder what Norway will be like?
